Are you a lesbian?
no, i'm bi, although sometimes i pretend because 'gay' sounds more emphatically cool in that yellow-and-orange-shirt way.
Where do you live?
last semester, in massachusetts. now that i am on academic leave, in a 100+ year old sprawling shotgun-style alabama farmhouse in the midst of massive renovations. 10 foot ceilings, an oak tree as old as the house, old blown-glass windowpanes with bubbles in them, wooden panelling and chair rails and fireplaces in nearly all the rooms.

'picky. whimsical, unorthodox tastes.' (me: i'm picky and my tastes are unorthodox and whimsical. k'saltling: that sums you up nicely, doesn't it? the entire cim-thing!)
Wallet?
black leather printed like crocodile, checkbook-sized for a very good reason.

a mug, which i use for both coffee and tea--handmade, purchased three (four?) years ago at locally-held southeast-wide art/craft fair. stoneware, flecked, comfortably round at the bottom, narrowing and flaring at the lip, with a hand-formed handle, painted with dragonflies and bamboo, outlines only, in royal blue under a clear glaze.
Sunglasses?
gigantic dark brown ones plus a small pair that look like v/ geeky glasses, framed like reading glasses, lenses shaded from pale blue to green.
Underwear?
bright coral victoria's secret cotton.

stereo in mass. laptop winamp playing a list composed of mainly ani difranco, dar williams, christina aguilera, and shakira

i don't think i have an enemy, per se. there are some people who i hate. or, well, say i hate. i don't really hate. i can't sustain it properly. i'm not tough enough, or something. dedicated enough, perhaps.
If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be?
i have my perry (a beagle), and our family has two rabbits (ick) and three cats (awwww), two of which are officially mine, but none of which actually prefer me to everyone else. although orpheus used to, before the dog.
