why does everyone make such a big deal over rear window? it's cute, sure. vertigo is much scarier. and rw could be much more hitchcockianly convoluted and stuff.

ugh. i detest rear window. back in film school i had to write a presentation on it, and i after weeks of working on it i had to fudge it because i simply could not stay awake through it, not even once.

well, i stayed awake. that's not my quarrel with it. it's not a bad story, really. i feel like hitchcock was pulling a punch somewhere, though.
