5 Jan 2003 09:38 amdid a great deal of packing last night and watched two episodes of due south, 'asylum' and 'mountie on the bounty.'
so. in. love.!
it's very annoying to me that the warmer clothing is, the more fabric it includes and the more suitcase space it takes. i could fill the whole suitcase with sweaters alone if i hadn't left some of them in massachusetts. and jeans! jeans take a scandalous amount of space. i'm not packing *that* many pairs. there was one more thing. ::scowl::
oh yeah. there was snape played by alan rickman, and he was a dark wizard but it wasn't the harry potter universe. he was living in some sort of victorian mansion and was generally known by the academy of wizards (royal, naturally) to be dark, which was why the president of the academy had spoken to me when i was assigned to be his apprentice. and i was younger than myself, probably only sixteen or something, and had a special talent for walking in the ether (or the other plane or something...?), which is very unusual and few wizards have it, and even though snape didn't he was otherwise very knowledgeable about the ether which is why i had been given to him to train. (there wasn't any real PROOF that he was a dark wizard, but i knew it.) at the end of the dream i had just started to fall in love with him, i believe. and there was this very strange thing where he was a teacher of *very* young wizards and was converting them to the dark and having them take final trials, which occur in the ether, far before they were legally allowed, and he didn't know i was in the house at the time or something--perhaps he didn't know i could sense the activity in the other plane. anyway, these children were a bunch of little boys, five to seven or eight years old, all dressed up in highly illegal miniature versions of wizard gear with bloody nasty trappings that clearly showed them to be dark, and he was sending them through *dark* trials and there was a demon there, and i had to stop them from becoming dark wizards, obviously. because that was worse than death! so as each one entered his trials, i was killing him, which was another ability of mine snape didn't know about. and of course they vanished from this plane, and died in the ether, but there was a specific ritual, and when snape opened the door again at the proper time, instead of new dark wizards coming out there was just blood oozing down the stairs, and he went insane with, er, evil insanity combined with grief. i pretended not to know that he was a dark wizard, or to know anything about them, and he was screaming up the stairs for me, and i was racing about in the ether erasing the traces that i had been there. then i ran downstairs and found him, and he was shaking with rage, but when he talked about what had happened i said i grieved for him because i knew how much he loved them, and then he started crying.
and then i woke up.
