i woke up at four am to discover wax had crawled over me to sleep in the other half of the bed. was bewildered and also sleepy, so slept some more, and eventually edged far enough over to almost push her out on the floor. we walked on icy roads to the bus station and the bus was, after all of that, late! wax tells me the trick with icy parking lots is to sort of... skate on them. but they're not smooth. it's very sad when what saves you from falling is that the ice has frozen in the shape of tractor treads. or trips you, either one (the latter only ALMOST happened). oh, and i seem to have actually lost weight, or my parents' scale is wrong. but granny has been trying so hard to feed me.

in other news, i totally understand mud and jello wrestling and stuff, cause the wet slippery making out is waaaaaay cool. i am not quite strong enough to pin wax to the wall.

watched x men and had many fangirl moments over ian mckellan and patrick stewart. fuzzy chest! floating! sharp dresser! eye contact! my god, does that man know how to make an entrance!

chased the littlest brother and his girlfriend away so that we can have the large guest bed, and, oh, at the bus layover wax smoked after i asked her not to which made me cough and choke, and then when i complained insisted on sitting across the aisle, so i slept by myself and my neck got a bit sore. i went to sleep highly offended, just fuming and steaming and plotting revenge, but woke up feeling much better.

the mom here has the yummiest tea ever. and chocolate not half bad.

dog is as big as i am. cat like giant orpheus. is probably part norwegian forest cat. beautiful. and liony ruff. so charming.

speaking of charming,

phineasjones waved at me in a very cute manner so i will wave back. ::wave:: i can't fix the broken link until i get home home in february and we're carefully not thinking about that just now.
