no, because i am quite difficult to make friends with and i don't go anywhere. we'd never meet.

in some senses. here i am, broke, in finland, with the sole purpose of spending time with someone who periodically irritates me for no reason i can pinpoint. (since i'm irritated the Voice Within is saying, 'she got drunk on three thimbles of alcohol that don't even taste good. who would DO that?' but even in my current state i'm well aware that that makes not a lick of sense.)

not that i can remember. i may have, when i was a small child.

i assume you mean in interpersonal relations. yes. sometimes unfortunately, but there's no doubt that they do. if you mean me, personally, still yes. if you mean would i go by them if i had a choice in the matter--i wouldn't discard any tool i have for understanding people, and observation is vitally important to that.
