in other news, i have never seen a group like fandom_wank for unashamed hissing and spitting matches. i mean, on most lists people make an attempt to pretend to be polite, or at least get smacked down by everyone else if they haven't. there it's a point of pride not to, apparently, because a perfectly normal message will end with something like 'and finally please get your head out of your ass and stop bitching.'
