cimoreneyou see the oddest things on daytime tv. like:
-people making brooches that are at least 4 in square out of lace and ribbon flowers with the intent to actually wear them.
-a bathroom decorated with life-size reproductions of greek statues (ie, naked women)--only cement ones--for towel racks.
-a clothing designer postulate that everywhere designers were aiming their couture lines at 'powerful' women because 9/11 had produced a world-wide surge in women's inspiration (i.e., women are our only hope, and realize this, and are slowly moving to take over things they've never done before!). (not that this is necessarily a bad idea; in fact, i'm all for it. however, i'm not sure that overpriced designer clothing is the best expression of this intent.)
-a vintage sf tv show about an investigative journalist, and a bunch of murders committed by a cantankerous ghost who didn't want his 'resting place' converted to a restaurant.
also, i have slept nearly the entire day. oops?
