Date: 20 Apr 2003 09:26 pm (UTC)You mentioned links. Well, actually, the policy is to archive the piece instead of linking; I'll use your exact HTML file or do whatever you want with it, but I don't have any external links because I wanted people to feel comfortable clicking on anything they saw without having to be concerned that something they didn't want to see would pop up. I know your site is relatively safe, but some people have explicit illustrations decorating their menu pages, and I don't want to have to start 'grading' external pages. So... if archiving isn't okay with you, let me know. But thanks for saying I could take whatever! That's half the reason I ask permission so much. (The other half is that some of our artists/authors aren't K/S'ers, and I wanted to make it clear to anyone seeing the site and recognizing them as such would know that they were ok with their works being used in this way.)

Date: 20 Apr 2003 09:37 pm (UTC)I'm hoping this archive will be "official", actually... after all, someone has to personally sit down and make those official archive sites, right? Especially considering they're not sponsored by the company that actually owns the rights... Ha! Can you imagine that?? ;-)
