cue panic attack as cim realizes for the first time that student loans mean paying a lot of money once a month and if you don't you get in trouble.
why did no one make sure i grasped the scariness before i signed up for college? it's not like, 'then you're out of college, and it doesn't start until you have a job, and don't read the fine print, because that doesn't ever happen,' which is what i thought. it's six months after whenever you un-enroll for any reason.
also, does anyone know where i would get a copy of my w2s or why the school doesn't have them already? i didn't think so, as it was my dad who took care of them.

Date: 24 Jun 2003 05:47 pm (UTC)i am almost as scared of getting a job as of having loans to pay, though, so in that, more pathetic than a lot of other people apparently.
Utter irrelevancy.
Date: 25 Jun 2003 05:32 am (UTC)YOU MADE ME OBSESSED WITH LEGOLAS/GIMLI.
I have read, like, every piece of it I can find, starting with "Time" and ending with everything on Library of Moria.
Do you have any more links other than those on your recs page, cos I've been through all of them and I need more and *whimpers* I'm such a pervert.

no worries
Date: 25 Jun 2003 07:31 am (UTC)My one bit of advice: get your loans consolidated into one low interest loan (try for 5% or less) with at least a 10 year payback. Then pay more than your monthly payment whenever you can afford to do so.
Re: no worries
Date: 25 Jun 2003 12:30 pm (UTC)the monthly payment is actually not a lot since my parents have the vast majority of the debt. it's just that i've been moping around and being neurotic instead of getting a job.
