i want to write because i feel frustrated and violent. i want to push some words around, manipulate them, force them into exactly the shape i want. that would be satisfying. but lately i have been approaching my own writing as if it had an unapproachable mystique, which isn't possible. you aren't supposed to be afraid of yourself.
