i wish people would draw snape to look like alan rickman.

honestly, why WOULDN'T you want to?

a;sldkfja;sdlkfjasdf ::muttermutter::.

here, for your edification, are five images of alan rickman as snape.

he's thinking. think about me!

foreshadowing?

i'll bet his face looks like that in... vulnerable moments.

'mr potter, i am asking you to repeat yourself.'

he's pained, but hiding it well, i think.

mmm. now i'm craving some GOOD snape/harry. [livejournal.com profile] thisveryinstant, you don't feel moved to write some, do you? pleeeease?

Trying to pound out Truth sequel. Oh, cim, it's killing me killing me killing me. And not in that sweet sad Roberta Flack "killing me softly" way. I've set up this situation where Snape is just being emotionally pounded on by about ten million different things--and then, at the end of the day, Harry ambushes him and he really has no defenses. And then Harry, who only knows that Snape is treating him like crap, starts emotionally beating him to shit, too. And sex ensues. And...fuck, where do we go from here? Snape is NOT going to forgive him for this one. At least, not readily. The only thing I can think to do is to engineer some wacky situation where Harry is in danger and Snape is forced to realize that he DOES care, in this awful, twisted, sadistic kind of way...

Or else I could just leave them in Animosity Land again.

I think I'll stop working on plot now, and just gather all my notebooks up and start the editing-and-transcribing-onto-the-computer process. Maybe that will clarify things. *shoots Snape and Harry a dirty look* Can't you guys just get over yourselves and start screwing???

hmmm... i don't think an artificial risk-of-LIFE way would be good except as a last resort. the animosity probably would continue a bit, as snape has a big hard-on for harry and resents that as well. he's big on controlling himself and hates that he can't convince himself that he doesn't like harry one. little. bit.

maybe some sort of metaphorical equivalent of his life being risked. (although in the hp universe the lives are risked quite a bit. except in your sequel voldemort is dead, right?)

he's big on controlling himself

Oh, but Snape HAS found a way to control himself. It's something that he's tried before, something that sort of backfired on him in canon. But he's taken precautions this time.

Could I get any more cryptic? IM me and I'll tell you about it :-)

I've got three notebooks full of disjointed little scenes, and I'm currently trying to put them together in MSWord like a puzzle. Some things are working. Some things aren't. Why can't I write a normal, linear narrative right off the bat like everyone else? Sheesh.

in your sequel voldemort is dead, right?

Nope. This is the 6th year story, not the way-far-in-the-future-fic. Voldemort is still around and kicking and causing trouble...
