my big toenail tried to tear in half*. i think i have successfully patched it with a little wisp of toilet paper, very tiny, and a lot of bright pink nailpolish. and a wee bit of nailpolish remover**.

um, so, what's up with everyone else?

i'm feeling nice and calm again. before i was all full of anger and despair and pain and i thought that would help me write that scene*** in karl and viggo's manly yet gay camping adventure... but the mood passed and i woke up this morning feeling optimistic. bummer, eh? damned optimism!

*it was trying really really hard and took shameless advantage of me picking at it with my fingers. i tried to stop it, but oh no.

**well, a lot of remover if you count what i used to get several huge pink splashes off my left hand after i tried to pick the bottle up by the cap when the cap wasn't screwed on.

***the scene of anger and pain. well, of inexplicable nervous tension and seething anyway.
