Date: 1 Nov 2003 10:47 am (UTC)i am cursed with jewish skin so i ALWAYS have them
Me too. But I don't have it as bad as my father, who had UV treatments once a week for 3 years when he was a teenager. He refers to his face as Craters of the Moon Nat'l Park. Poor guy. My mom has the oppostite problem--her skin is so dry that if she stretches her fingers too quickly the skin between them splits. *shudder* Thankfully, I fall somewhere in between. But I break out somethin fierce when I'm stressed out. Which is most of the time.
Oh well--at least I didn't get the nose :-)
i've decided to stop the scarring by refraining from picking at them once and for all
I can't. I've tried, and I just can't. It's a compulsion.
Ho hum. I really should be doing something useful. I've spent the morning reading this wonderfully long, plotty TNG story. Much more fun than _The Sound and the Fury_ :-)

Date: 1 Nov 2003 11:15 am (UTC)uv treatments, hm. my skin isn't that bad: i always have about two or three of the pink sort, and more of the little pebbly ones that are more annoying than anything else. it's painful and sometimes more unsightly than others. treatment did clear it partially, but not wholly, and i'm just not prepared to pour that much time and energy into it. i know it will get less severe as i age. my dad and his sisters all had a sort-of abatement in their thirties.
well, re:picking at it... i may not be able to, but i was able to stop with my nails although i later picked it up again. maybe taking more tranquilizers would help. ;)
