cimoreneOpposition to Reverend Fred Phelps' Proposed Anti-Gay Matthew Shepard Monument in Casper, Wyoming. he wants to erect a monument that says
"MATTHEW SHEPARD, Entered Hell October 12, 1998, in Defiance of God's Warning: 'Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind; it is abomination.' Leviticus 18:22."
the city council of shepard's home town might be forced to display it due to complications detailed in the article.
honestly, they were morons to accept a ten commandments memorial for public display, then, weren't they? you can justify anything on religious grounds if you're obnoxious enough.
regardless, it would not displease me if there were just tons and tons of signatures to this petition.
