no, he said, 'well! hell-lo! ::grin:: and how are you tonight?'

me: oh, hi. just a second--i need to put the dog away.

(cause i can't hold perry's collar and sign for a pkg at the same time.)

he grinned, i put the dog away, i came back, he asked me how i was again, flirted about the length of my last name and had me enter it in the keypad for him, thanked me twice, and left.
