...other people do them, but [livejournal.com profile] ninglor has intrigued me. so:

Post anything that you want here, and post it anonymously. A story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love... anything. Make sure to post anonymously and honestly. Post as many times as you'd like. Then, put this in your LJ to see what others have to say.

One problem--you've disabled anonymous posting *grins*

Okay, here are some of my cherished sekrits:

1. In 7th grade I sat behind the Queen Popular Bitch in math class. I regularly fantasized about bringing a pair of scissors to school and cutting off all her perfect hair.

2. I once snuck at peek at a friend's jounal while he was in the bathroom. And I'm not sorry.

3. Halfway through his second box of wine, one of my best friends confessed that he had sexual fantasies about tying me down and beating the crap out of me. He's a great guy, and we're still good friends. But...damn.

4. I put this meme on my LJ, and I'm 90% sure I know who 90% of the anonymous posters are. It's like recognizing someone's voice. Anonymous? Bah!

[livejournal.com profile] ninglor did one and got all KINDS of fascinating stuff.

i can recognize voices. i have a fair idea of yours, for instance. but if you keep your comments shorter, that makes it harder. and i know a couple of people who have the more... retiring and uninformative style of sentence-writing.

I want to live as courageously as you do (and yes, you do).

eh? that's odd. i mean. i'm cowering at home in my parents' house, not getting a job or going to school or pushing aggressively to get what i want (ie moving to finland), because doing important stuff makes me nervous. so i put it off till it's too late.

Or, you left school because you weren't happy there; you're open about what you want and who you love. I didn't say you're perfect, but that takes some courage.

oh, i see what you mean.

being open about who you love is a function of environment, i think. i mean, whether you feel okay with that is. i feel i have been lucky in the environment of my upbringing.

I've seriously wanted to kill someone before knowing I could do it.

well, apparently you acknowledge it to yourself.

if you have a character trait that you don't WANT to change, rather than give yourself cognitive dissonance, why not just stand by it? stop feeling guilty.

There are a lot of things you don't know about me. There is something in particular that many who think they know me know absolutely nothing about. I don't think I could be understood if I tried to explain it.

wow, that's a pretty good one for the, er, ineffability thing. i mean, utterly mystifying and all that. but doesn't it defeat the purpose of the anonymity to refuse to say what the secret is?

My guardians did something that has fucked up more than half of my life, and will fuck up at least the next decade or so. It is not so much the thing, but the way it was and is being done. It won't fuck up my life entirely if I can help it, but it will definitely continue to change and affect me for the worse for the rest of it.
