slashing crowley and aziraphale seems silly. it's rather canon.

so... anyone got any recs?

ow. my head hurts. :shakes it:

i have found a way to do -limited- graphics stuff; i can resize. methinks i'll feckle over it later, but can you :points to icon:?

-21 px, possibly fuzzy silvery border. or, like, i don't know. it's green. i'm slytherinish. i don't know how, but wouldn't it be cool if it had silver on it?

~

haven't read the book. i've been *trying* for, like, three years, but every time i pick it up sumthin bad aalways happens. (ow, my head.)

so the following, i actually have *not* read. alls i know is, i slaver over [livejournal.com profile] daegaer's Bible fic; S-f stuff seems to be good as a generality; I've read stuff by Moony that I've liked.

http://www.imjustsayin.net/silverlake/mediums3.html

http://hobbiesodd.ubiquitously.net/onereason.html

be good.

and yeah, I'm here, but really not.

okay but i asked you this before and you didn't respond... what do you mean -21 px? you want it to only be 79 x 79 pixels?

i didn't? when?? (i always respond. i think.) ((unless it was that unfortunate time when in dumbass fashion i didn't realize changing emails means required "validation")

yes. yes yes, 79 trombones.

btw Nelly Furtado's new album is going to be previewable on MTVcom very soonish. i wonder what pregnancy's done.

yeah. i'm excited for nelly's new album ness. it will be bound to be better than britney's, if you like hers better, which i do, and i was disappointed in pink's, which i felt was not as good an effort, for pink, as itz was for brit. so anyway. yeah. i worry it won't be available for free downloads soon enough for me cause right now i am broke.

okay, so i saved your icon. i'll see what i can do.

it's defnitely not what I exactly pictured, and I didn't even ask for captions, but I find I don't mind.

it's so *tiny*!

this icon reminds me of my friend's chihuahua, who is a girl puppy, whom i call "Baby" because her name is "Ronnie" and I think of Ron, who is much less cuter, and her other nickname is "Bambie" because she looks like a little, prancing fawn when she gets hyper by being let loose around the park across the street from my house...

i *loff* it, am gonna *hug* it and *squeeze* it and upload/save it sometime this week at school..

it's very Hogwarts/Ghostbusters/Jello in space <3

Hey there, I just got here through your recs page. I really liked your Jeeves/Wooster recs btw- you do really nice, useful summaries.

I see someone already rec'ed [livejournal.com profile] daegaer. You can find her fic in her memories and all her GO stuff is excellent. I particularly like 'Bright with His Splendor' and 'Ordinary People'. Read [livejournal.com profile] afrai's fic too.

But there are lots of other great GO authors and stories. If you're interested my favourite ones are all in my recs journal, [livejournal.com profile] miladysboudoir. And there's [livejournal.com profile] lower_tadfield, the GO community. There's some great fics and art there too.

Okay, end of pimping!

Ooh, Good Omens! One of my favourite fandoms! Crowley/Aziraphale are really so canon! *g* Prepare to be spammed by recs.

I don't know if there's any GO-only archive, but here on LJ there's [livejournal.com profile] lower_tadfield and the lot of new stories and fanart gets posted there. Some time ago there was a great thread there, someone asked for everyone's favourite stories and authors and there was a lot of great recs. *hunts the link down* Ah, here it is. (http://www.livejournal.com/community/lower_tadfield/39108.html)

Now, my favourites. *deep breath* I love and recommend pretty much anything by [livejournal.com profile] afrai, [livejournal.com profile] daegaer,[livejournal.com profile] carmarthen or [livejournal.com profile] louiselux, especially Afrai's Living Arrangements (http://thewritegirls.populli.net/afrai/living.html) (it makes me cry whenever I read it *sniffles*). Her WIP story, The Sacred and the Profane (http://thewritegirls.populli.net/afrai/s8.html), also rocks but it hasn't been updated in a while and I'm afraid it'll remain unfinished. :/ Still, better WIP than nothing. *g* Torch has written a marvelous GO story, And when he falls (http://strangeplaces.net/torch/andwhenhefalls.html), it'd easily enter my Top Ten Stories In Any Fandom list. [livejournal.com profile] ballyharnon's stories (http://members.cox.net/castdown/othertales/goindex.html) pretty good too (she says they're WIP but IMHO, they can be read as ficlets just fine :)). Everything Daegaer has written is worth reading, but my favourite is Flights of Angels (http://www.overvolt.net/slash/story.php?no=57). Okay, I'm gonna stop now, before I rec just about everything that's in my GO fic folder. *g* Hope you find something you enjoy here.

And for the end, a guilty pleasure rec. Ailei's Instruments of Faith and Sex and God (http://ailei.bacchae.org/instr.htm). *blushes and hides* It's just about the only one NC-17 GO story I've ever found and it has wild OOCness and dialogue that makes me cringe and it's corny, I know, but so hot. *pants* Like I said, truly a guilty pleasure. *g*
