entirely too into this au go by [livejournal.com profile] daegaer though only halfway through, a loud porcelain thump made me tense so hard i jumped up off the chair.

oh, yeah, breathing normally would probably help my heartbeat, weird head feeling, and constriction about the stomach and chest. damn goodfic. wah. i'm feeling all sentimental and stuff. edit halfway through and it's still doing it. i keep stopping to almost cry. just because it's so--sweetly wistful and--. it resonates or something. that's the only explanation. at least i can console myself that i never REALLY cry*.

jesus. what am i doing up at five am. i know i napped at two this afternoon but--honestly.

*since reading magic's pawn for the first time in third grade.

magic's pawn was an awesome book.
it will always hold a special place in my heart as my introduction to slash.
i can't believe you read it in third grade-it took till about 6th for my inner romance fan to emerge.

i still refuse to believe the ending though.
i've cried everytime i've read it.
and the second book(magic's promise?)=evil.

hmm. i don't disagree with the ending. he was really in love with the whatsisface but whatsisface really was evil. the healing was well-written--for lackey. i really don't have a high opinion of her writing, especially her later work, but i do think she had some powerful ideas, and this trilogy was one of them. but i disagree about magic's promise. it's the best of the three.
