1. wedding

cuddlepint and i will be flying to kansas on christmas day (we're going to open presents the day before), because my cousin panda's wedding is the 27th. then the 28th, early morning, we're driving back to alabama with two aunts, cherrie and tammy. i'm a bridesmaid. lillian is a 'candle-lighter' (a highly dubious role that i don't feel belongs in any wedding, let alone one with five bridesmaids, but wth, l. was very upset at not getting to do it in kyndra's wedding a year and a half ago).

2. story
i've finished a whole draft (approximately 34 pages) of some of the smuttiest stuff i've ever written--and it's femmeslash! which is really surprising on the surface as i never write that, but oughtn't to be since i am a l-leaning-bi in a f/f relationship. be that as it may, the last time i offered it up there were only four pages... does anyone pop-minded want to read it for me? or anyone femmeslash minded, for that matter? it's angsty and confusy but not necessarily dark. (i drew ideas, material and even some words directly from three christina songs and, hm, four or five by pink.)

3. heat and cold
last night it got down in the twenties and jenny and taum's [highly drafty] house got rilly cold with it, because the heat went out in the morning. the heat technician didn't come until ten or leave until ten forty five (pm) because the insurance wasn't going to authorize overtime, even though we were talking below freezing, and a two-year-old in the house. 'i'm pretty sure you could sue,' i said, 'if he got sick,' and jenny said 'well, i just hate that whole culture of litigation, and i don't approve of it at all and i won't be part of it.' i guess she wouldn't be mollified to hear what i meant is that you could THREATEN to sue....

4. finding nemo
just watched finding nemo again and am more determined than EVAH to slash nemo and gill. come on, it's begging for it. who's with me?

eta: 5. and i made myself a crowley/aziraphale paper cutout birthday card on tuesday. and then i drew a pretty, cartoony kinda pen and ink thing in the journal i'm supposed to send to

hollsk next week. i'm going to scan both when i get home.
