cimorenei'm itching painfully to see rotk again; i doubt i can wrangle a trip tomorrow.
when i came home daddy gave me a check (to pay to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wax_jism) for my birthday, a really uninspiring birthday present although of course i do want her to have her money. today i pointed out to him that i told him at least three times which present i wanted for my birthday. 'you did?' he said. 'i forgot. which one was it?' i said, 'a movie,' and after a brief bicker in which lillian thought it might be a different movie from the one single one i'd already asked for... they went and got it. it was labeled christmas but i ripped it open anyway, after striking through x-mas on the front of it with a giant sharpie and scribbling 'birthday!' instead. it was the pirates dvd. i already watched a few of the extras when j & t rented it, but am happy to watch more. the upshot of all this is that now i have pirates on dvd. and i can watch that instead!
after the movie again, my main problem is deciding whom to marry first, pippin or faramir. i'm thoroughly infatuated with both. (and i like both their silver tree outfits too.)guinevere33 suggests that faramir has cooler hair, but... PIPPIN.
