it's now been THREE WHOLE WEEKS, twenty-one days, without a word from my beta. i'm dropping emails into a black hole, here. and i don't want to post this [almost-finished] domlijah until she reads it! *cries* and it's not that i don't have other people to read it, either. buffett has been wonderful, for instance. but. but. ahhhhhhh! k'saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal!

I know how you feel, I emailed one of my stories to a trusted friend of mine and I've had no reply either....it sucks!! :(

ok, but i'm not a beta. and i'm trying to do work, here! cool it! there were weeks and weeks when i could have done it.

am in exactly the same situation. it sucks, lots. and I already wrote her one querying email, so I'd feel guilty about writing another one, or complaining in my lj, or anything. I can't continue until I get her feedback, and I've been waiting on that for weeks.
