Date: 9 Feb 2004 03:27 pm (UTC)jesus would have spoken (largely) aramaic, wouldn't he? i mean. he WAS a jew. and the bible was in aramaic. the jews were in the roman empire at the time, so maybe they spoke latin. at least when they were talking to romans.
