well, there were four ten-point essay questions, two econ and two poli sci. i think i did all right. it felt like i usually feel about exams. i test well.

the funny part is that when i showed up there were two places laid, for two test-takers, and i wasn't on the list. i don't know why i didn't expect that given åbo's fantastic history of dumbass, but i didn't. 'but uhm, there's sort of a problem,' said the administrator, 'because these are the only people who are allowed to take the test.' i gave her the name of the official i was communicating (wrestling?) with. they ran off and couldn't contact her, but she'd seen my name on a memo, so in the end she gave it to me anyway and said she'd get permission later. she also told me she was sure i passed 'from what i've seen' when i left, but she barely glanced at it. so um.

i also saw troy and in the cut. troy wasn't as bad as i expected, and eric bana is totally my man. mmm. rrr. and in the cut was a very well-made movie of a not-so-well-made thriller. i enjoyed it, but it wasn't as good as i expected. however, hot, pretty, cinemagraphically excellent. made me like meg ryan a lot more and raise my eyebrows over her apparently unknown costar.
