wax brought animal factory for me to watch. it's a sweet adorable prison movie wherein edward furlong and willem dafoe experience a sort of higher love, even though edward isn't Like That, and willem is a bald badass. they joke around about it and there's this scene of puppyish warmfuzzy joy where edward's all 'you can't have my ass and you can't suck my dick' and willem grabs him and pins him on the bed and humps him and everyone piles on and they briefly mime gang-rape, in a family-friendly way, chuckling in the spirit of brotherhood and smoking pot all the while. they plan to escape and everything. i was on tenterhooks. i think they grow old together on a parrot farm in costa rica; wax was like o.0 at my level of involvement with the characters. i almost cried when i was scared something bad was going to happen to poor wee edward and i grabbed her and squished her and sort of sat on her hip. but it's all good. i don't think there is a fandom for it but someone totally needs to write the sweet novel-length saccharine sequel.
