i started to study japanese again. and... it was fun. what's up with that? but! no. it's a good sign. yes, yes. did i say that green tea earl grey--twinings, of course, somethings blah blah by appointment to her majesty--is nectar, ie the drink of the gods? because. ah. it is. i have hardly done any goofing off today. read 200 pages of frankenstein, drilled japanese, made icons--whoops. ahem.

the mood icon thing is time-consuming. might be almost as fast to make my own set, as i was contemplating. some people are evil. the words livejournal style make my fingertips tingle. no no no. will not mess with it again. i always seem to screw it up. (evil little voice: but maybe if you didn't use the generator template...) NO! in other news, oranges=yucky. throwing orange away... now. go, me.

there's been a slough of domlijah lately, hasn't there? is this franka backlash, or did it start before and i didn't notice? or is it just part of the overall swell in lotrips? (speaking of which, what the fuck is up with that. meh.)

Earl Grey

Tea in general is wonderful. Earl Grey, however, has the added advantage of being good against coldsores. Something about the bergemont, I believe.

I lovelovelove tea. All kinds. I love green tea and green tea with brown rice. I love Earl Grey and Lady Grey (although not as much). Lapsang Souchang, oolong, a reaaly good assam, like the oranjuli stuff, made with full and not broken leaves. Ceylon, keemun, is there something wrong when you have to spend five minutes deciding what, exactly, tea you want?

And sometimes, you just need proper teabag tea. tetleys. Trucker's tea, loads of tannin and milk and with brown sugar, even though I don't like sweet tea, haven't since I was ten, but sometimes it just has to hot and wet and sweet. With a McVities digestive or a hobnob to dunk in it. utterly and completely necessary.

(This is, incidently, the reface to bad tea in my house. "I let it stew too long/not long enough, but it's hot and wet and that's what onts."
