wax: see, that is a sound you do not want the car to make.
cim: awwww!
wax: i don't know if it is you, actually; there's something wrong with the fuel or something.
cim: his little feet!
wax: because it actually always makes that sound when it starts... so we can't lay it all at the door of your inexperience.
cim: he had little LEGS!
wax: because the tricky thing is: these cars, they produce a variety of noises.
cim: he had little legs!
wax: he's a dachsund. they do that, don't they
cim: HE HAD LITTLE LEGS!
wax: and you didn't listen to a word i just said, did you?
cim: a PUPPY! his little LEGS!
wax: uhuh.
cim: i want my puppy.
[a corner is turned, the parking lot is arrived at, and a golden retriever is spotted in it.]
wax: home, sweet home.
cim: aw, a puppy.

i know, i know. don't give me an (even more) swelled head.

i want MY puppy. (i just call all dogs puppies because i don't like the words 'dog' and 'doggie'.) but i am in horror of the puppy-less existence. everyone should have a puppy. a person without a dog is like a superhero without a sidekick.

ok, exception for the kind of people who wouldn't have sidekicks if they were in comics. they maybe don't need dogs. there should be some kind of test. maybe with inkblots.
