cats make a house feel like a home, but when your better half goes to work for eight hours, you still feel like you're alone in the flat with the cats.  if your dog is there, and your better half goes out, you're not alone--you're there with your dog (and, oh yeah, the cats).

i'm a cat person over a dog person any day of the week.

but i agree. i think it is the whole GIVE ME ATTENTION, HEY LET'S PLAY! thing that dogs do.

dogs think that they and you are both people, whereas cats are quite conscious of being different from you, and possibly superior to you as well.

I love my kitties, when I'm depressed they wont leave my side. Theyre just so cute.
