time-honored cliches
1 Nov 2004 11:55 pmyou know, i have a real fondness for gimmicky cuddly stories.
trapped-in-elevator/closet accidental cuddling. forced to share body heat. garden variety, sudden-flu h/c. shuttle crash. accidentally waking up entangled.
that doesn't stop me from occasionally deducting points for use of tired cliches, but i greatly enjoy them, especially that moment when you can slowly grin and go 'hey, this is a forced-to-share-body-heat fic!'

Date: 1 Nov 2004 10:13 pm (UTC)For my radio drama in drama class, my group's play was about how many people were trapped in an elevator, including:
- a french girl
- a really old man
- a psychopath
- a fat guy with a gas problem
- a claustrophobic
- a gay man
- a ditz
- a paki man with curry
- an overly helpful kindergarten teacher
- a really really really nerdy guy
Not in the least romantic. (It was a really big elevator.)
But yeah, I really enjoy those trapped-elevator/closet fics too, and so on and so forth.
