cimorenei was thinking to myself, last week, that i didn't really remember a film vibe of tristan/ with the obvious galahad/gawain in king arthur, but i'd only seen it once. 'i wonder?' i said to myself, as i sulked because i couldn't find more fic for the pairing combo.

dea_liberty is totally right about their dynamic in this excessively soap-opera-y fic. there's a definite competition between tristan and galahad for gawain's attention, irritation on galahad's side but with fondness on tristan's. there's a friendly, relaxed couple of moments between tristan and gawain, more as equals, that i think can easily be construed as the surface of interest on tristan's side. and of course there's a bit of hero-worship in the manner of galahad's attachment to gawain's hip.
if only there were more well-executed meaty fic for them! cause now i've got a CRAVING.
