i need to google some stuff from this commonly confused words test (gacked from [livejournal.com profile] devon) when i get home. i'm not convinced there's any still-extant difference between some of those pairs of words, but i at least want to know what was going on.

every single person i have seen who has taken this (including me) has got 77% on expert!!!
