you could come over some time and we could burn stuff for you. we just finished the siege though, so we're ready to start rewatching from the beginning again as the next order of business.

i know you're feeling sick though so i guess that puts a crimp in any plans to come over.

also, you used the kind of grammar that, while not elegant or strictly correct, is in widespread usage in the midwest. "if i would have had" etc. they also do a lovely "had went" (instead of had gone).

And yep, I'm still more or less like a walking corpse because of the flu of DOOM, but I think I should be better in a day or two. I hope. Plus of course I wanted to wait until this isn't hugely contagious anymore.

oh, yes. I love the leadership trade off, and how they look to each other for confirmation. Lots of verbal and non-verbal "okay?" "okay".

you have no idea how hard i jones for some nice gen fic where the team bonds AND NOT OVER TRUTH OR DARE OKAY THERE ARE WAYS TO BOND THAT DON'T INVOLVE TRUTH OR DARE. um. not that truth or dare isn't nice in itself, i'd just like to see some other bonding from time to time. just time to time, you know? because they've clearly been spending team time together off screen and are completely, like, knit and teamlike by the time a few episodes have passed, just like they'd gone to some hokey methodist teamwork-building retreat with the Ropes of Doom Over the Little Canyon and the Fall off A Platform Without Looking And They Catch You and the sharing with the Talking Stick and relays with eggs and, i don't know, the three-legged race (five-legged race?).

Yes, yes! I'm dying for some fic filling in the gap between The Rising and sudden bonded team. Why are Ford, Sheppard, and Rodney so sure that Teyla's loyal to them in "Suspicion"? Why are they so attached to poor dying John in 38 Minutes? I want my bonding!

I want them commisterating over Bates!hatred and boring meetings with Weir, and maybe they were all stuck up all night together "on watch" during the first few days in Atlantis and passed the time telling random stories. or something.

Why would Rodney go to John for the shooting him and tossing him off balconys thing? I so want to know more of why they all glued themselves together.

I've been reading more slash, and my head is filled with inappropriate (but so delightful!) images. There's a 10 hour marathon of the entire first season, airing this Friday in the US. I *must* tape it so that I can watch it at my leisure. By that, I mean in 2 or 3 sittings, rather than 10 straight hours. Also, it's important that I'm able to skip the commercials. That alone should bring it down to 8 hours.
