recs update, site overhaul

guess what i spent the past ten hours doing*?

my fanfiction and recs websites now match my journal.

i also updated my recs (latest recs page) wiiiiith:

40-something highlander, on its own new page
13 the sentinel
7 due south
7 harry potter
7 dark is rising
5 lotr rps (all of those stolen from esorlehcar5 probably)
5 house
4 CSI and 4 CSI:NY
a handful of other stuff including good omens, veronica mars, la confidential, etc


*i've been putting off doing this for months because i knew when i started i wouldn't be able to stop--or even really take a break--until i was done.  and yo, ten hours.  i feel so weird.

i think there's one. i haven't updated my recs since early january. you may have seen it already.

damn, that's one fandom there needs to be a lot more of. it's so frustrating because very little of it is actually the scum-sucking dregs of the literary chamber pot... but none of it's really satisfying to me either.

oh, yaye! i don't think i've ever butted in and said this, but i love your recs. excellent fic that i don't usually find on my own, and systematically reliable.

i thought i just might let you know that on the latest recs page, there's an angel fic, "inklings," nestled in with the sentinel recs, between "everything you need in one convenient location" and "personal casualty". :)

it's funny because i mostly cull my recs from other people's recs. i mean, it's very rare that i go archive-wading--only in smallish fandoms or ones without substantial recs, like sports night and the pros. with highlander, for instance, i started at crack_van. and i get all my lotr rps as recs from other people nowadays.
