alriiiiiight, everyone, finally my magnum opus is ready to post. in the illustrious tradition of tennessee and burn, :p i present to you the domlijah that i've been working on since, oh, february, also divided up into those freaky pseudo-chapters.

This is amazing. I love this, the words like little mazes; it's like water splashing into me, the way he wanted water, and I can't think unless it's what they think; and there's glue in it when I read it, and it gets thicker and thicker the more I read, until I'm stuck with it. This was incredible and fantastic. All with a wonderfully sweet ending. It's fics like these that pull me deeper into the idea of Domlijah. Wonderful. I can't wait to read more of your fics in the future.

ahaha. love the icon. and thank you! i wouldn't think the fic was designed to pull people into the pairing... my dom and lij don't have a great deal to do with anyone else's (unless, you know, you count my stealing the discovery channel voiceover and some other ideas from wax_jism).

No no no, I wasn't insinuating that at all when I wrote that. It was more in the sense that, the pairing was appealing because (I felt) you wrote them with such wonderful chemistry. You gave the characters (Elijah especially) such depth that I can't help but like them and feel for them. And of course, Dom and Lij look just plain cute together. ;)

it took me a while to get used to the style, but then i realized oh hey it's the way lij's thinking! it all clicked into place and the pacing is quite nice.
"Cold from the inside--that was sort of deep, actually, especially if you thought about the loneliness, because hadn't he been so--well, cold--inside for weeks? Wow."

and i haven't yet read the other bits. cim writes long stories, ne. ^^
