archive-wading, i came across this story that didn't make the recs list cut, but which i nonetheless have some fondness for.  it's cliche, but it's also funny, and kind of cute, and the porn part isn't bad.  sheppard/mckay, nc-17, first time, sweet dreams are made of this by reedfem.  if you're wondering which cliché, it's the 'was it all a dream?' one, and i don't think i'm really ruining the suspense by telling you that.

sooo we accidentally came out to one of wax's coworkers on our walk today.  we weren't even cuddling because of cuddling--wax wouldn't frivolously cuddle in public!--but because it was a bit chillier out than i expected and i was wearing a camisole, so i kept trying to burrow into her side and finally she put her arm around my shoulder (wax: "and i can't even give my letterman jacket to you, 'cause i'm not wearing one").  and then she was like, "oh my god, is that--i know her.  it is, it's one of the girls from work!"  then she did the smoothest 5-second-delay gradual un-cuddle ever, which is to say, it was painfully not-smooth.

then we talked about bad rapefic and whether jesus is, in fact, coming, until a couple of damn hippies holding hands emerged from the meadow in front of us and ambled across our path. 

wax:  dude!  there are like het people everywhere.  everywhere you go!
me:  i know!  it's like they've populated the planet or something!

my girlfriend always makes the same comment to me, only its more along the lines of "well, gee, i'd give you my letterman jacket, but it's at home."

does it make me hoplessly and pathetically girly and/or highschoolish that i kinda wish she WOULD give it to me?

no no no. i have these old shirts wax can't fit anymore that she screenprinted herself. one says 'wax jism'. and i gave her some of mine that were large and silly and they're all tight and boobalicious on her. it's very uh, nice.

but wax doesn't actually HAVE a letterman jacket--and your girl does, doesn't she.

she played every varsity sport possible for a girl to play (minus tennis) at her high school. all four years, even. so, yeah, she has one, and she's really proud of it too. i doubt she'd trust me with it at all.

i DO have one of her old softball t-shirts that i use to sleep in, though.

we're so butch/femme. it's kinda cute sometimes. nobody would ever guess that SHE'S the one who wants to have the children (not that we plan on actually having kids together, but you know how people will talk, hypothetically speaking and all of that). personally i think she'd make a better dad than a mom, but, eh.
