nothing's been happening, but. i did read some interesting stuff about meteors, like how in 1908 the shockwave from a meteor impact in siberia knocked people over who were 60 km away from it, and the glow of the fire from impact was visible 1000 km from the site.  and here are some hilarious want ads from eleveninches and somethingawful.com mercilessly mocking the international male catalog from telesilla. eta: and also! cleolinda's Real Book of movies in fifteen minutes just went up for pre-order on amazon.co.uk.
