oookay, so.

paper was due at 4; i finished it at 3:56. tried to print it (which there wasn't time for, anyway) and discovered my printer was out of ink. wtf? both roommates offered the services of their printers, but rm#2 was about to leave so i used rm#1's. and it immediately seized up, claiming as its excuse a nonexistant paper jam. after unplugging and restarting the damn thing twice and getting 3/11 pages printed, i went to try rm#2's computer. told it to print once and... it didn't. for no apparent reason. back to rm#1 for the mo, and she had managed to print page 3 (as we had previously somehow ended up with two copies of page 2). her printer stopped working again. back to rm#2's computer (in her absence!), and when i told the printer to print again, the computer froze. greeeeaaaaat. finally rm#1's disgorged the rest of the paper. ran to english office, deposited it in her box after frantically searching for said box (cim's brain: oooooooh, it was in plain sight!)

*falls over asleep*

You clearly have yet to learn that all technology has an urgency sensor. Also, a panic sensor. The more you need something to work right now dammit, NOW, the more likely it is to seize up out of spite. (Copiers are like this, too.)
