i have to put my stuff in storage today. i've got, um...seven boxes, a footlocker, and this plastic box thingy, which i'm in the process of labeling. i don't like this, and i still don't know how i'm going to get the boxes down the stairs in... two or three hours. and this paper. damn, i have to write the paper. *fumefume*

also, it was supposed to rain ickily all week but the sun's come out today and it's actually hot. the only reason i'm not sweating is because i happened to have hung up one of my skirts instead of folding it in the skirt drawer, which means it escaped being packed with the rest. now i look like summer. in... just over a month, i think, my cousin's getting married and i'm going to be a bridesmaid. i remember with startling clarity planning, with aubry, our weddings when we were eight and nine and ten, in hot springs, arkansas over fourth of july weekend (and if i get married in december i'll wear a green velvet gown with white fur trim and my bridesmaids will weqar red velvet, but if i get married in january i'll wear white velvet...). i remember when i couldn't imagine being at college. it wasn't that long ago, in fact. i think some tea is in order, folks. hm hm hm hm hm.

Dude, I HATE summer storage and moving. It basically sucks. Does it cost you an arm and a leg, too? Maybe that's just me. The price I pay for living here.

I used to spend two to three hundred dollars in storage and shipping at the end of the year. There isn't any space on campus, so they outsource it to a company that charges a lot, but they pick it up right here and drop it off right here in the fall.
