Urgh, I hate those things. My own addresses have been spoofed at least twice. Also I got one today on my Lilith account from someone who had visited Cara's page-- and it had spoofed the subject box with the summary of one of Cara's TS stories. Grrr.

That really horks me off. :-P

This one will probably persist for ages, seeing as how the thing disables virus checkers and people don't realize they have it, then if they do, they can't get rid of it...

i don't know; getting virus emails about yourself is at least slightly more amusing (er--ironic?) than getting them about your friends. the one from "wax" (with her name uncapitalized, for some reason) was "hi cimfiction, look at this!!!" ...i'm not sure if it could have made up anything less wax-like with days and days of effort.

and glad the survey was interesting.
