cimorenewell, that was a confusing half-hour just now caused by the fact that the swedish word for "mountain spirits" looks exactly like "mountain robbery". although reading up on rån, the more popular skogsrået is really pretty cool. she calls to mind froud fairies and terri windling's the wood wife (one of my very favourite modern fantasy novels. terri windling is incredibly brilliant and cool and witty, too. she's a southerner, so i've seen her a bunch of southeastern cons. man, i really miss science fiction conventions).
i've gotten what feels like a lot of writing done today (≈ 2000 words), although it only feels like a lot because it's been a long time since i've written much of anything at all. still, it's exciting and envigorating. also, i tidied so much that the livingroom is practically unrecognisable. wax did the same thing to the kitchen a couple of days ago, so the place looks pretty nice.
hey, the last question in my homework requires me to research urban legends. yay! ... hahaha, for example these faqs which are just copy-pasted from usenet posts and they've left a smackdown from a nasa scientist to another list member intact here (ul in question: penny falling from great height killing someone) which is pretty funny.
