random morning -- er, afternoon -- things

it's odd that i didn't sleep until seven am or so, which means i was awake more than twenty-four hours in a row. my translation work is done (mostly) now and i was paid €90 for all of it--which is more per hour than wax gets, plus aril took me out to lunch twice. it's too bad i couldn't do a similar job all the time! except that just half a day of translation is still so mentally intense at this point that it leaves my brain too fried for writing fiction. also! i finally opened the scary letter from my department that i got two weeks ago, and not only was it not scary, it wasn't even from sldl! it was just a form they should've sent me two years ago, recommending that i take two courses i have already taken. boy, was that anti-climactic.

completely ot from everything - i was just trying to decide what ryoma is reading and aöksjfdöaskld a different paperback edition of one of my absolute favourite dwj novels with a gorgeous cover.

yes! but oishi doesn't seem to mind. you'd think he always talks to her about how hot eiji is. in fact, from this episode, you'd think they were buddies.
