curses, foiled again!

my roommates left all night and fooled me into sleeping late (late being six--shut up) by leaving a lamp on in the living room. i thought they'd stayed up all night or something. furthermore, they left the shade open in the bedroom and it was too bright. despite this, i slept well and am not grumpy.

i dreamed my parents were taking me to college. the college was sort of dangerous. my aunt and uncle and two cousins my age were there, and panda and her best friend were in a triple. they registered for room draw without telling their roommate, so she couldn't room with them. panda said where they were going to live next year "wasn't far from anything because the buildings were small." and then there were people trying to kill me and i was sort of, er, part of this parody of the fellowship of the ring? and the person who was legolas--or the equiv.--had to have leggings, only they couldn't be real ones, i had to wrap these strips of suede around her legs (her. yes. *shrug*). she kept complaining, and i said, "but you're an elf, so they can't be real leggings!"

uhuh. maybe i will take a shower before the dom-lookalike and associated assholes wake up and steal it. *prods motivation experimentally* *discovers she is not motivated*

took for granted all the times i never let you down... hm. inappropriate lyric, but am lazy.

betaing done for naina. still awaiting anxiously story from ally. will start writing soon, after breakfast. oh, and ma cherie wax wrote an araboronecrofic that didn't squick me! whoo. go waxling.

*flexes fingers* i can see the ribbony edges of the domlijah before me. getting ready to reach out and grab them, as have been left in solitude to gather myself together. and spring. the sky is damningly blue, with sunlight on the slopes of tin roof whiter than white and dizzy sweeps of clouds dancing just out of reach of the spires of the chapel. oh, my, let it be spring.
