welllllll, that was a pretty nice dream. i never object to dreams about sex. although this one also involved... a garage sale. of some kind. and a homicidal guy who kept trying to cut the table cloth into little ribbons. well, we take what we can get.

pop_icons' style is invading lotricons: animated rain and little blinking boxes, redensek font, and (god forbid) rampant random curlicues (which are called, for purposes of icon-nuts, 'swirlies'). i find this amusing. and the even BETTER thing is that these are actually better than the icons that were making up most of the community before. orangeblossomb, speaking of icons, has a lot of cute ones of herself as a baby just now. and also i adore hollsk's 'fuck you' one and all of wax_jism's, but that's just because i adore everything which has to do with her at all.

i'm wearing a white and black do-rag as a headband, a maroon microfleece pullover, black stretchy pants, and a long narrow japanese silk scarf printed with harunobu woodblocks in teal and rust and brown around my hips like a sash. hm. odd. but i'm happy.

it's a pretty day. i did my laundry, though not without having the washing machine eat $1.25. i should probably call someone. ::glum look::

have spent the afternoon talking incessantly with never fewer than four people, which is a bit exhausting. am sleepy. have eaten some food today including what probably counts as an actual lunch.

rightthisway.net has a new service provider that has all kinds of spiffy features that thelionforreal will be glad to burble at you about. meanwhile, i got my pictures back from detroit and stuck a bunch of them to my wall in among my other pictures. i have covered most of the wally behind my desk and under my bed in this manner now.

of course, to make the server switch work, we download everything from the old host, and then upload it at the new one, and... i'm still downloading quite busily. which prevents me, naturally, from uploading. so you can't see these pictures until that's over with.

but i can. ::stares at the wall some more::
