i really should have gotten up at 7, not at 8. japanese test at 2 pm, but i've got class almost solid from 11 till then, and i've got a bunch of written japanese i need to do to prepare. i suppose i can always do that during logic, or skip logic and spend the time in the japanese studying room in webster. either way, this is one day down out of six in a row that wax has to work. >.<

but i did sleep very well.

apparently it is the birthday of buffett, medical lore person, writer of some cute domlij and co-writer of a pretty damned impressive smutbomb with mcee, and just general all around cool person. my domlij epic [delirium] would never have been written without her! she's a fantabulous plot consultant, albeit quite a busy little bee.

what is free will anyway?

and how deep in the consciousness is it fundamentally? or in how many layers does it exist?

you know that feeling like you're comfortable in familiar places? have you ever thought about why? i think it's because they're mapped in the inside of my head and on some level it's possible to believe that they, well, are inside my head. like i've more control over them.

and do you do familiar things for the same reason?

how much of the world you live in is just constructed out of bits of yourself on the inside of your head?
