i get tea but not breakfast. run to library to find wax. yay! she's THERE! ...and she leaves to eat.

so you'd think after three shampooings this damned dye would be washed out, but instead it's rubbing off on the edges of my hood. suck, yo. and i'm rather sleepy, i'm afraid. movies to watch today: gosford park.

writing today: more legolas/gimli, if i can ever get through the damned scenes in isengard. tolkien, honestly, i didn't need a sedative. i'm sure i could have found the bible somewhere around here. or the sil, even.

got this as an email.

BE MY VICTIM

I want to immortalize you, by killing you. I'm embarking on my fourth novel,
SQUEAKY CLEAN, a thriller set in my hometown of Slough, England. To
celebrate this new book, I want to name one of the victims in the book after
a reader. Between now and the March 31st, 2003, I'm collecting names. On
March 31st, I'll select a name at random and that person's name will become
the name of a character in the book who will to die a grisly death. In order
to die a fictional death, you will need to join my free e-newsletter. This
can be achieved in two ways-either by going to:
http://www.simonwood.net/Newsletter.htm or send a blank email to:
simonwood-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

The lucky victim will receive a full acknowledgement in the book and a
signed copy, plus any other promotional things I can lay my hands on.

Feel free to share this email with friends, family and other interested
parties. This isn't meant to be a secret.

I look forward to killing you.

Simon Wood

gosford park: not bad, but not up to my expectations. don't know entirely what to make of it. maggie smith delightful. no more laundry got done, and i've managed to escape all my time at home without working at all for big gay andy. in fact, since his boy lives in atlanta he wasn't at our party; i haven't encountered him at all. less happily, none of my four gay boys were at the party either. and on a somewhat schizophrenically happy note again, the lesbians that i don't like didn't come, and neither did the ex-lesbian who's now engaged to the semi-slimy ex-stepdaddy of lillian's best friend rain.

gold stars for everyone who followed that. special heart-shaped cookies for minions. (apparently [livejournal.com profile] cuddlepint requires a headcount, for suspiciously untold reasons.)

today has been a day of much meh.

but you know what i said about chess being sexy? dude. patrick stewart and sir ian playing chess? ::faints:::
