i woke up in the middle of the night. wax and i were in mirror-image, curled up back to back with our spines pressed together. lily was curled up--and squished flat--a tiny little violently purring ball between us. i suppose being squished wasn't a problem and she liked the warmth. she was quite disappointed that i moved.

we're awake! what's the matter with us? well, wax has a dentist's appointment. she is the cutest thing EVAH.

i had a furry and fragrant* little prisoner, but she escaped. lily! return to meeeeeeeeeee!

1. catch cat when she walks by. hold firmly.

3. pet whatever parts are not clawing.
