dude, i feel all awkward and weird and stuff. because i woke up at ten, and we watched tv and ate, but then i fell asleep again during memphis belle, the baby sean astin movie. and slept more on and off. don't get me wrong, the sleep itself is great. then watched most of a vh1 behind the music on grease while wax shoveled snow. granny made bland vegetable soup and bread with melted cheese for lunch. in a surprising sneak attack, my tastebuds loved the soup, even the green beans and cauliflower, without more than a murmur or two for salt. and when i tried to force myself to eat french bread, normally THE favorite food, i almost threw up. uh, maybe it was the cheese? have always liked cheese before. go fig.

hollsk and soaker have set a date and will be married in september. they've also bought rings and are shopping for baby furniture. the good news is that with my semester off (although of course, i still do have to get a job...) i may be able to visit closer to the baby's actual birth, if that's what the ghetto hobbits prefer. the bad news is that if all wax-wise goes according to plan i will be back in finland for a year in the university of turku by september--this time with our own apartment, thank you, and doors that close, i think.

earlier this week forgot my meds for two days in a row. was sulky and jittery yesterday, then walked to see wax at work and spent most of the time bouncing on my toes and kicking my feet in the air. danced most of the way home. twirled in the kitchen. giggled a lot. pinned wax to the chair and forced a back rub on her, purely for my own amusement, of course. she seemed to be alarmed. (soon she will be entirely in my power, bwahahahahahahahhahaaaaaaaaaaahh!)

changed layout mildy (for my journal). it's good in ie, but opera does something strange to the tables, and the monitor here fudges the colors a bit. that said, i think i may need to change the colors--say, make the visited links some shade of blue or purple, and the sienna instead of black. am sick sick sick of navy blue text, though, so don't even suggest THAT. or maybe i just need to getused to it. i like the red and white and black. maybe those hot pink bars on the side a paler color of pink? the visited links a darker color (but NOT black, ugh. disastrous.)? opnions welcome! i've got nothing better to do.

i'm lying. but my laptop isn't going to be rejoining the world of the living until february 5th, so i may as well get used to mucking about on wax's computer only. added links to wax's friends page and stuff. i have taken to reading both of them. am starting to see why two people might share a journal. this is getting ridiculous. we even have two clients constantly open.
