9 am appointment to have my typing and proofreading skills evaluated. ::eyebrow:: that shouldn't take long. last i saw it was 93 gwpm. in the meantime, i must discover the phone number of amherst's dining hall for this secretarial something-or-other pool application.

did you see fred durst supposedly dished about his sex with britney on the howard stern show? bwahahaha. k'sal thinks you're good for me. she thinks i'm good for you, too. she bases these opinions on her knowledge of me, and her knowledge of your writing style. it would be just like her to be able to use "void" + "thing" as a sort of cosmic tarot deck.

in other news, that thingy i was talking about... here but you have to scroll down to something like 'fred durst comes on the show.' be prepared for a golf-commentator-like play-by-play of the conversation.

also, i have new pictures of shakira for you.

it's illegal now to talk about killing the president. well, it always was, but recently the secret service has started showing up at people's doors. there's a lil' story about it here at [livejournal.com profile] sos_usa, but basically, you're fine for suggesting mutilation as long as it's NON-FATAL mutilation.

(ahahhahaha.)

a selection, ne?

And I said, ``What's going on here, man?'' And Hoppe said, ``Dr. Thompson, let me tell you one thing: I would advise you not to go to Washington without talking to me first.'' So I said, ``Come on over. What the hell.''

Well, we talked for a while, and by that time Hoppe knew it was a joke. I said, ``Have times changed? I've threatened to drage people around Washington by their nuts behind Oldsmobiles at a hundred miles an hour. I've advocated the slaughter of all politicians. What are the guidelines now?'' He had a pretty good sense of humor. He said, ``Well, you can't say that he should be strung up. If you say that to people, WHAP! Ten years. You can say he should be tarred and feathered.''

the 2nd and 3rd office pools require something like 2-4 years' office experience, but upon seeing my typing speed all three secretaries urged me to apply anyway. i'm going to call and get an appointment to test on excel and access, but first i have to learn how to use them :p.

9.9 my grandfather sent a slash article in the mail, torn out of a magazine, that one from 2000. 'the x-rated files.' YAWN.

what's liv tyler's fiancee's name?
cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (Default)
i have an idea of a plotlet for drew barrymore and liv tyler at an awards show or something, only i'm not having any liv voice bunnies and the bunny requires her pov. for some reason. so i guess this means a slight delay. but i'm determined to write a dribblet since [livejournal.com profile] poor_napoleon showed me this pic of them kissing, even though i'm somewhat liv-ambivalent. giving up on a short easy bunny is Just Not Done by a Princess. (well, i'm a princess, aren't i?... nm.) so anyway, i downloaded all these pictures of drew today, partly for inspiration and partly because i like her hair and i'm thinking about attacking mine with scissors next time i get really bored. but wow, she sure poses for a LOT of naked photos. i mean, dude. mia tyler does a lot too, but i bet liv skirts the line. she seems the type. otoh, i get the idea she and mia are very close, and i like to cling to that idea because it's a happy one, and wouldn't incest be fun? especially since they look so very much alike, teehee.

hey, do identical twins have the same fingerprints? i was wondering when getting fingerprinted the other day but i didn't ask the police technician. that's sorta like saying idly in a bank, 'so how easy would it be to break in here at night?'

--seriously, i wonder (haha--typed 'wonderful' there at first!) why i'm so cheerful lately?

perhaps my mood is influenced by environment. it looks likely i'll get an officey job that pays reasonably well. getting a job of painful drudgery would be preferable to none, cause as long as i have none i'm (a) on moral low-ground with my parents and (b) looking, which is the most despicable state known to mankind (let alone princesskind, ::cough::), as everyone knows. i'll be able to pay my monthly loan payments (only $40, teehee) and. and. get a passport in time to go to finland. and mail the package to my cupcake. speaking of which, i'm back to the subject of good moods: oh, nothing, just another possible cause of them :>.

the k/s is progressing nicely and i'm quite pleased with the ofc, who's not at all mary sue-ish (no danger of THAT, as my protagonists are always too heavily invested with me for another character to be...) (and with jim kirk, there's enough changes between me and the page that i hope it's not too noticeable.) (k'sal liked it, anyway!) i wrote another scene today. next scene up is with spock. those are more tiring, as more delicate.

and then there's the fact that i wrote and coded a ficlet today. babble babble. thai is my least favorite variety of curry.
