naina, i know i asked you this, but i forgot: do you just want that story formatted and posted?

last night the dog tried to walk through a hole in the sheet in the dark (one from my mom's wedding, i believe) and ripped it large enough to really walk through. then, when i tried to move him, i tore it more. it was not sheet material anymore, so i made a pair of pajama pants. unfortunately, the fabric is so worn you can stick a finger through them; but otoh, they're REALLY soft. we're trying to avoid sharp objects, fingers, sudden movements, etc, and in the meanwhile, they're very comfortable.

what's with gene kelly and the male sidekicks? does every movie he's made have threesome potential?

i wake up after a little nap and it's gray and dark like nighttime everywhere, this cold breeze blowing in and it really looks like tornado weather. i heard thunder, so i'm guessing not tornado weather per se. jerry asked me if i'd ever done any babysitting when, in fact, i babysat for him last summer. at first i was a bit nervous about replying but i said yes first and then, 'i babysat for you last summer,' and he said 'i know.' er. um. okay? and then this phone call from an la dude who called me 'sweetheart.' i think it was an inquiry about my dad's little sf poetry zine, but what happened in practice was that he left a web address and a long-distance phone number. it's so hard to say to these people, 'he's not going to go,' or 'he won't call long-distance,' or 'he's not going to solicit submissions.'

made some cookies that are mediocre now, but the batter was the best. my stomach is upset. what's your favorite rap song?
