i know it's improbable, but

i'm still waiting for someone to write a really good snape/harry fic. i want to be really convinced. i want to sink into the world, and totally buy it, and be satisfied with it after i'm done reading, not going, 'well, it's lovely, but it's a big departure from canon, innit,' or 'the tone's just so.' or 'if only harry were a little more ___.' there's an excellent point to be made about the canon improbability of the pairing. well, at least, there're all these obstacles in the way. but people keep coming so close! it's a genre with such potential! unfortunately, a good one is rather a lot to ask. i'm not even quite sure what one'd have to do to convince me. but i want it, yes, precious, very much.

(no subject)

the little screws on one side of the toilet lid that fasten the hinge to the top--both of them have fallen off so it's hanging on one side. i opened it and the second one fell off and rolled down into the toilet. and i couldn't see it and couldn't think of a way to get it out, so i flushed it. o.0 me, go get new screws? i haven't been to the store to get milk, folks.

skimming through bodie/doyle stories again. awwww, this one's like an Ode to Snuggling, which--boy!--deserves an ode if ever anything did. a toast to cuddling! isn't it, well, just so NICE?

o.0 so some brat shows up in sparkly_girls and, ignoring the rule about locking all posts, posts a poorly-punctuated paragraph of annoying teenie-speak. when asked politely by the moderator to spell out her words, she responds almost as rudely as possible (and ends with 'bai baiz' >.<). (edit: omgwtf, her journal and her userinfo and website and aiiiieeee. dear 'meg,' please obtain a spell-checker, and then commit suicide with a spork. love, cim+claire.)
