i wake up late, rush to get here just on time and--no daddy. they SHOULDN'T be gone. i think someone forgot his appointment was at 10 and not 9. i told them last night!

i opened a new package of (unscented) deodorant this morning and it smells weird. it's giving me a headache.

watched star trek nemesis. also, saw two apartments, one abysmal, one mediocre. nemesis = SO MUCH BETTER than star wars. patrick stewart still sexy. brent spiner getting fat. i'd like to see them slashed. why has no one slashed them?

the beginning of buying trouble, a master/slave au by layna ayre anderson, holds me spellbound as a sweet, uncomplicated, but very good romance should. but i'm ashamed to admit after the mutual confession of love and the kisses i lose interest. the story's only two-thirds over, but i feel most of the tension has been disspelled and am perfectly happy to go 'that's all, folks!'... and go to bed.

the kittehs have escaped and are twining around mewling, rubbing their heads on the door. we are out of wet cat food, i think.

When we first got here, I was still angry about the bath. I felt like they had washed Aragorn away from me. And then there was all that racket with the catering carts. And there was some howling from Miranda's room. I did some really dark paintings at that point. But now it's quieted down a bit, except for the occasional weeping in the hallways.

+my hair used to be so beautiful when it was long. i never miss it, like, when i'm walking around or something, just--sometimes when i walk past our family picture wall and glimpse the photo of the wedding party at kyndra's last summer and it was halfway down my back, a riot of curls. i don't know. i'm just lazy and stuff. too lazy to take care of three inches of it, apparently.

+my mood=v/ broadly discontent. discontent with everything. everything i read makes me more discontent. i am pouty and would like to kick things. i feel the universe owes me a better time than this. it's just, like, not fair. (did i forget my medication...? no.)

+even if we get a THREE-bedroom apartment i'll either have to share with lillian or with the computer, which i won't get to keep for myself whenever anyone wants to use it.
+i wish the world would present me with some patrick stewart/brent spiner rps. but as it has not yet come up with shatner/nimoy i fear that that is unlikely. hnnf. (i did find some ewan mcgregor/liam neeson while looking--of course i looked! why are you looking at me like that?--, but it wasn't all that grand.)
